LogiMAT 2016: S&P presents WMS innovations

Big Data in intralogistics

Big Data is becoming an increasingly important issue that should not be ignored for warehouse management. Every day a WMS generates tons of data which could be analyzed and used to learn from developments in the warehouse and take proactive decisions.

The SuPCIS-L8 cockpit visualizes important events and conditions in the warehouse and illustrates metrics in real time. Tis year S & P presented an extension, which provides the cockpit the ability to save data and make developments and trend visible with a single click.
The collected data can be used for example to optimize staff planning: with one view recurring peak periods in picking areas can be identified.
